In this video we’ll show you how to get to Macau Wynn Hotel and resort so that you can watch its glittery water show at Wynns Performance Lake. Macau Wynn is a 5-star luxury hotel and resort located in old Macau on the Peninsula side. On one side is the Nam Van Lake and on the other side across the way is hotel Lisboa. You can easily get there by taxi. If you’re taking a public bus, stop at hotel Lisboa or Senado Square and walk to the hotel.
It’ll be a five to ten minute walk. You can also catch a free hotel shuttle from the Macau outer harbour ferry terminal to the Wynn Hotel. Our hotel was near the Wynn Macau hotel so we walked there. We walked across the street and entered through the Wynn macau’s casino entrance then walked through the Wynn hotel hallways to its main entrance. The Wynn macau is a huge hotel and resort and is worthy of a nice walk through Before or after the water show don’t miss the dragon of fortune and the tree of prosperity shows located in the rotunda. The short shows begin at 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. daily and repeat every 30 minutes.
While we were walking through the hotel we saw exclusive shops, statues, artwork, and displays that were pristine and ornately decorated. One of my favorite objects was the red chandelier. What a great tribute and combination of east and west truly luxurious. Once we reached the main entrance, we walked outside to see the water show. When you initially walk out you don’t expect much although the backdrop of the Lisboa hotel and the lights are impressive but then the show begins. Wynn macau’s performance lake begins to prepare itself for this three-minute show which is performed every 15 minutes throughout the day.
The show start at 11 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. Sunday through Friday and then Saturday and evenings of public holidays 11 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. every 15 minutes. Macau Wynn’s Performance lake is a dramatic story of dancing water, fountains, music, lights, and fire. The LED lights are individually controlled to present the exact cue of color during the performance so that it coordinates perfectly with the seven fire Jets to create the flames that burst out during the course of the show add to that 800,000 gallons of water which jet from over 300 nozzles from the water fountains and you have a breathtaking show fire and colored lights are perfectly coordinated to music which range from Broadway show tunes to traditional Chinese music. It’s a shorter version of the show at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas with the added feature of fire. we were able to get close enough to the lake to feel the heat of the flames and there wasn’t much of a crowd at the time we visited. It was nice watching the dancing lit water and listening to the fun music after the show we continued our exploration in the Macau Wynn. My favorite spot at the Wynn is the moon jelly aquarium.
This 11,000 liter aquarium is located behind the registration desk in the Encore tower. Afterwards walk along the boardwalk to see a colorful view of the Macau Tower against the backdrop of the Nam Van Lake and inlets. Begin or end your visit at the Wynn Macau at the performance lake show for a perfect day in Macau. Happy Travels.
